I found myself walking bits which I knew I “should” be running. The cramps were gradually getting much worse and my hip flexors and abductors were now also starting to cramp after many kilometres of having to overpower the adductor cramps. When all of these muscle groups simultaneously cramped, there was nothing I could do but stand in place wait for them to subside.
